HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I shouldn’t have left you without a dope mani to see to! (<– see what I did there) It is so sad that my last post was on last year’s New Years!
Wish I had a good reason as to why I haven’t posted in so long, but I’ll spare you the b.s. and just admit that I was lazy. Sorry
2015 was a pretty eventful year as in I finally got out of my dead end retail job and I got ENGAGED!!!! AHH, wedding madness and this shit is no joke.
Plus, not relevant to the prior paragraph, but I am on Instagram now @lacquerlackey <– Click the link to check it out!
No segue. Back to the nails! This is a new to me brand, Cirque, which operates out of NYC. They have a crazy following and I finally got a few and this was amazing!! It’s a blue crelly with bar (ugh!) and micro glitter. I don’t like bar glitter and have pretty much avoided any polishes that have it. I made an exception for this because the bar glitter is very minimal, tiny and it’s navy, so of course I had to have it!
The three photos above are 4 coats! It’ll take some time to build opacity, but damn it, it’s WORTH it! I did not use a base and would probably, maybe put some navy under this beast! The COLOR: amazing! The FORMULA: amazing! A++ in my book; highly recommend!
Until next time my lovelies!!!
Hey guys!!! My quest for the perfect cobalt polish has ended. The winner that stole my heart: Nails Inc.’s Baker St. If you have this polish, then you know what I’m talking about. If you have any want of a cobalt blue creme finish, then make your way to Sephora or online, because this is stunning. I went to Sephora and for $10 I bought heaven. When I was applying the first coat, I think I heard angels singing…..or maybe that was my neighbors arguing. I don’t know. I LOVE creme finishes, probably because that’s all I bought when I first started my collection. Well, get ready people.
Isn’t this GORGEOUS!?!?!??!?! I just love it so much. This was my first Nails Inc. purchase and I was NOT disappointed. O.M.G. I can’t express how beautiful this is, just look at it!!!
Whew….I think I have to go take a cold shower. I’m feeling the vapors.
Well, until next time.
Hello!!! I was going through my pictures and I’m pretty sure I haven’t put this one up yet. This is part of the China Glaze Neons collection; I picked up three of the colors. This color is the prettiest neon blue that I wore on my vacation back in May because it reminded me of crisp water, sort of like the ocean?? Anyway, here it is yo!
This is Splish Splash as the title says, and it is so nice!!! China Glaze is my first love and always will be; their colors are amazing, the application is always awesome and they are awesome. LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I have only wore this color once, which is bizarre but whatevs, am I right?? I thought I would jot this quick post out to y’all so you can have your fix, you junkies!!!
Hey people!!!! What up?? So today we had that awful storm hit us here in WNY, so I’m writing this post instead of walking to Starbucks in a god dam monsoon. Lucky you right? 😉 Anyway, I was debating for a while to even post this mani, because I really don’t like it. So this base color is suppose to be a dusty sage, so why does mine look so blue? I’m confused. I do like this color though, maybe the blue stamping is making it look extra blue. I don’t know. Maybe I should try it with different colors or something, so here it is!!!!!
Base Color: Zoya Bevin
Stamping Color: China Glaze First Mate
Stamp: BM 317
Maybe I’m just being too critical, but this just looks meh to me. Drop me a comment if you think otherwise or if you share the same opinion as me! Now I’m off to watch Criminal Minds and make more coffee?? You can never have too much coffee! Bye bitchez!!!
